Sounds Like Bullshit to Me....

A 26 year old woman has decided to sue the DEA for confiscating almost $47k stuffed into her bra when she was at Boston's Logan International Airport.

The DEA claimed it was drug money. Ms Valdez claims she was going to use the money in Texas to pay for plastic surgery on her breasts and butt.

Riiiiiight, sister.....

I personally know about a landscapeer who had 3 grand on him when he went to the airport. He was flyhing to Texas to buy plants when the DEA profiled him. He was black. They took his money. They said his money was arrested. He had to prove he wasn't going to Dallas to buy drugs. We don't live in th land of the free and the home of the brave any more.

    Yeah that is bullshit.

But from what deacon said, about profiling, a black shouldn't have large amounts of cash on their person, ever, in my personal opinion. Hell if they cops don't give you grief about it someone will, if it isn't taken from you!

Too many people assume that blacks are dealing drugs, or perhaps they stole that money from someone, or whatever.

Look, nobody should have that much cash ($47k) on them. There are very, very few legit reasons to have that on you. Plastic surgery ain't one of them. Never met a doctor yet that wouldn't take a check, even from out of state.

As to your buddy, Deacon Blues, that sounds like crap to me, too. Did he ever get it back?

He eventually got it back but he had to post "Bond" on the money at 20% of the original federal thievery. What the feds said was they were arresting the money, No shit!, and since money doesn't have citizenship the money didn't qualify for constitutional rights. Inocent until proven guilty doesn't apply to non-citizens, and the Constitution doesn't apply to non-citzens. Boy how things have changed. He did get the money back but spent it all and more on legal fees. Goofy328, Why should black people have to adhere to different standards than white people? I'm not necessarily in favor of eliminating certain types of racial profiling (eg. Islamic Terrorists) but this was absolutely rediculous. Where was the ACLU? It wasn't a high-profile case and there was no way they could make money off it. This happened waaaay back in the mid 1980's.
